SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

Cities need to become greener, more liveable and cooler through more planting. Integrating greenery into urban areas, such as parks, roof-top gardens and planting along streets, plays an important role in this. With our innovative designs, we offer products that contribute to the realisation of these ambitions.

But sustainability goes beyond just offering sustainable products. It is also about making conscious choices for the right raw materials and setting up the product process efficiently. We are able to make these choices because we manage the entire production process in-house. By developing innovative and sustainable products, we actively contribute to a better living environment for everyone.

IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION

We have the entire process, from design to production, completely in-house. This enables us to optimally manage quality, efficiency and sustainability. By doing everything in-house, we can implement sustainable innovations in our production processes more quickly. This makes it easier to respond quickly to new sustainable techniques or market requirements.

During our production process, we strive for as little residual waste as possible, which we achieve with the help of advanced nesting software. This software optimises the use of materials, minimising waste. Although we try to limit residual waste, we also strive to reuse it. For example, in our carpentry factory, we use wood left over from sawing to make bottoms for our hardwood planters.

In addition to efficiency in production, our factories are energy-neutral and all located in Europe. We also minimise our carbon footprint in transportation by packaging our products as tightly as possible, resulting in minimal stowage loss.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

In our wide range, we work with many different materials. We always strive to make the most sustainable choices. From the steel we use to the coating layer, without compromising on quality and appearance. New to our range are four sustainable wood types: Accoya, Kebony, Savrame, and Reclaimed Wood.

Additionally, we ensure the longevity of our products by using vandalism- and weather-resistant materials.

SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP

We also make as many sustainable choices as possible within our company. For example, the roof of our office building is covered with solar panels, making us completely self-sufficient in our electricity consumption. Our employees drive electric vehicles and there are 16 charging points available to charge these vehicles. Not only for employees, but also for visitors to the building.

In addition, we have created a green front garden, which not only contributes to water drainage and biodiversity, but also offers a pleasant working environment. As a result, we promote a healthy, social workplace.
